Frederick J. Moyer October 16, 1940 - March 21, 2026

Frederick J. Moyer, 85 of Allentown, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born October 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Fred and Lottie (Kehl) Moyer.  He was the husband of Violet (Ferrel) Moyer, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2018.  Fred was a master plumber, as well as an owner and operator of his family business, Fred J. Moyer Plumbing Inc.  Fred also was an instructor at LCCC providing apprentice training and was a member and past president of the Allentown Master Plumbers Association.   In his spare time, he was an avid woodworker and trap shooter. He was a member and past president of the Guthsville Rod and Gun Club.  Fred and his family are longtime members of Horizon Church.

Fred is survived by his children, Teri Miller (Steve) of Allentown, Darren Moyer (Kandi) of Allentown, Melissa Schneck (Scott) of Lower Macungie Township, Michele Carls (Jim) of Emmaus, and Matthew Moyer (Teresa), of Allentown, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his son Freddy Moyer III, and siblings, Catherine DiBucci and Charles Moyer.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM, a calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9-10 at Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd, Allentown, PA.  A viewing will be held Thursday March 26, 2026 from 5:00-7:00PM, also at the funeral home.
