Gary C. Kuhns February 27, 1956 - December 3, 2023

Gary C. Kuhns, 67, of Coplay passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, in the St. Luke’s Hospital – Allentown Campus. He was born in Allentown, a son of the late Roy E. and Leona V. (VanBlargan) Kuhns. As a youth he played basketball and baseball. Gary was a graduate of William Allen High School Class of 1974. He was the general manager of the Cedar Crest Boulevard McDonald’s for many years. Gary was then employed in the manufacturing and quality control departments for Stanley Vidmar before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Allentown and was currently a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown. Gary was an avid sports fan, supporting both the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Phillies and coaching his son’s basketball team. He loved flying kites, collecting coins, and playing golf. Gary enjoyed diet Coke and a good cheesesteak. He will be missed by his family, friends, and his cat Blackjack.

Survivors: Son, Tyler E. Kuhns of Allentown; daughter, Jenny R. and her husband Joseph R. Huegel, Jr. of Allentown; brother, Dennis R. and his wife Stacey Kuhns of Exton; grandson, Dylan J. Huegel; former wife and friend Barbara L. Kuhns of Allentown. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon L. Kuhns.

Services: A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, December 8th in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown.
