Gary D. Pave May 9, 1943 - December 7, 2025

Gary D. Pave, 82, of Breinigsville, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Arden Courts Memory Care.  Born in Palmerton, May 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna (Zawaly) Pave.  He was the widower of Mary Elizabeth (Wisocky) Pave, and the husband of Catherine Ann (Pierson) Pave.  Gary was a proud graduate from Penn State University.  He first worked in Public Accounting and then had a rewarding 26-year career at Rodale Inc. where he retired as the Controller.    Gary was a long-time member of St. Thomas More, R.C.C., Allentown, PA.  He was also an active and devoted member of the Alton Park Lions Club and Lehigh County, Pennsylvania Association for the Blind.  He loved rooting for Penn State Nittany Lions Football and supporting his children and grandchildren sports along with spending time with family, friends and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Cate, Gary is survived by his children, Matt Pave (Jules), Mark Pave (Debra) and Adam Pave (Kimie), step children, Edward Barry, and Michelle Barry, brother, Stephen Pave (Sherry), sister, Marie Ruch (Larry), grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew and Jack Pave, step grandchildren, Josh Frey, Shawn Barry, Katie Frey, and Christian Whitman, nieces, Andrea and Adrienne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at St. Thomas More, R.C.C., 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown, PA, with a calling hour prior to mass from 10:00-10:45.  Burial will follow at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery (Lower) in Palmerton, PA.  Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
