Gerard M. Reilly October 1, 1956 - March 6, 2025

Gerard M. Reilly, 68, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully Thursday March 6, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Sun Y. Reilly. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary last January. Gerard was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late William E. and Marie (Yodice) Reilly.

Gerard was a twenty-year veteran of the U.S Army serving during the Gulf War and involved in the recovery efforts of 9/11. He was a member of the ALS Association and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Nicknamed “Bilko” Gerard’s military service was the fulfillment of his life and always wanted to serve our country.

Gerard was a huge sports fan, loved watching baseball and hockey. He was an avid supporter of the New York Mets and New York Rangers. In his spare time, he enjoyed eating good meals, listening to music, and watching sports, history and military themed shows, and game shows.

Gerard’s family would like to thank the VA, PCAFC, PVA, DAV, and ALS Association for their support during his life.

Gerard is survived by his loving wife, Sun Reilly; Sons Adam C Reilly of Pennsylvania, and Nicholas G Reilly of North Carolina.
