Gilda R. Dreisbach October 8, 1926 - April 10, 2021

Gilda R. Dreisbach, 94, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, amidst loving family, at LVHN in Salisbury Township.  She was the wife of the late Russell E. Dreisbach, Jr., to whom she was married for 67 wonderful years.  Born in Allentown in October, 1926, she was the youngest child, with four sisters and two brothers, of Salvatore and Tomasina (Braghalia) Carlini.  Gilda was a 1944 graduate of Allentown High School.  She was employed as a supervisor of computer operations at Buckeye Pipeline for 25 years before retiring in 1988.  Gilda was an avid daily swimmer at the YMCA, and she enjoyed bowling with a league weekly.  She was a member of the Jerusalem Western Salisbury United Church of Christ.  Gilda is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose kindness and love will be greatly missed.  She is survived by her daughter, Denise R. Schuler (husband: Gerald D.), of Krumsville; granddaughter, Candace R. Guelzo (husband: Jonathan E.), of Fort Riley, KS; and great grandchildren, Cora, Isobel, and Patrick Guelzo; as well as nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Russell E. Dreisbach III.  A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date this summer.  Arrangements entrusted to Stephens Funeral Home, Inc.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
