Helen R. Wiersch December 25, 1932 - January 10, 2021

Helen Rose Wiersch, 88, of Coopersburg, passed at Fellowship Community, Whitehall Twp. on January 10, 2021. She was the loving wife of Willard Wiersch who predeceased her in March 2007. Born in Bethlehem, PA on Christmas Day in 1932; she was a daughter of the late Helen (Stofko) Cicon and the late Edward Cicon.  She grew up on a farm on Flint Hill, Center Valley, where she learned the values of hard work and loving family; graduated from Coopersburg High School and lived in the house built by the hands of her husband and her on Locust Valley Road in Coopersburg.  Helen was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Limeport, where she was a faithful parishioner volunteering tirelessly for various hoagie and food sales as well as the annual summer festival.  She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Prime Time Clubs at St. Joseph’s and St. Anne’s Emmaus. She was employed by Western Electric/Lucent in various capacities and volunteered many hours with the Cetronia Ambulance Corps Inc.. She was predeceased by brothers Charles, Andrew, Stephen, William and Sister Mary.

Survivors: Sons, Glen, husband of Rhonda of Colorado and Larry, husband of Diane of New Tripoli; Grandchildren, Kathryn, Brian, Jacob, Summer, Sarah, John, Jordan, and Eric, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.   She will also be missed by her many dear friends.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, January 14, 2021, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s Rd., Limeport. Visitation: 9 – 10 AM January 14, 2021, at the church. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
