Hy Warren Beltrame, 69, of Allentown PA, passed away Sunday January 5th, 2025.
Hy was a graduate of Dieruff High School. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 20 years, where he held at various positions over the years. He was also a roofer, working for Alan Kunsman Roofing and Siding followed by Miller Brothers Roofing as well operating his own business Hy Beltrame and Sons Roofing until he retired in 2019.
Hy was a lover of all sports; either playing or watching on TV. Barely a day went by, that he wasn’t wearing either a professional or collegiate team shirt. He grew up playing baseball, and basketball on the East Side of Allentown. He had a passion for bass fishing, NASCAR, and golf. He adored spending time with his family. Camping was also a retreat from the city life for Hy. He and his family had a camper up at Lake Moc A Tek Campground for 15 years enjoying the sounds of nature, various places to fish and quality time with family and friends.
Hy was the son of the late Eugene Beltrame Sr. and the late Jean (Greene) Beltrame. He was the husband of the late Elaine Beltrame. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dean (Beltrame) Johnson. He is survived by his brother, Eugene Jr and his wife Mariza of Honolulu, Hi, stepsister Lehualani of Honolulu Hi, and stepsister Lokelani of Lihue,Hi. Two children, Jason Beltrame, and his wife, Rebecca, of Allentown, PA., and Justin Beltrame of Northampton, PA.; Grandchildren: Laura Beltrame of Northampton, PA.; Joshua Beltrame of Allentown, PA.; Ryan Beltrame of Allentown, PA.; Julien Beltrame of Northampton, PA.; Arianna Beltrame of Northampton, PA.
