Irene “Renie” Makar August 28, 1934 - April 25, 2022
Irene “Renie” Makar, 87, formerly of Johnstown, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, in the Luther Crest Health Care Center, South Whitehall Twp. She was born August 28, 1934, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Michael and Rozalia (Kaszczak) Makar. Irene was a member of St. John’s Ukrainian Church, Johnstown.
Survivors: Many nieces, nephews and their spouses. They will all miss the laughter they shared with Irene. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jim, Katherine, John, Bonnie and Mary (Paul) Talago.
Services: A graveside service will be held at St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Johnstown at a future date. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
