Isobel M. Guzie November 27, 1928 - April 26, 2021

Isobel M. Guzie, 92, of Allentown, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Anthony Guzie. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Clayton H. and Bertha E. (Long) Knappenberger. Isobel was a graduate of Liberty High School. Isobel worked as an assembler at Western Electric for 10 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Trexlertown. She was a former member of Greenawald’s UCC, where she served as an assistant with the Girl Scouts. She was also a former member of the Trexlertown Senior Citizens. Isobel enjoyed crafting, being outside, gardening and watching the wildlife. She was an animal lover and the family always had pets. Isobel loved being a mother and spending time with her family.

Survivors: Sons: Daniel Guzie and his wife Roxane of Allentown, Dennis Guzie of Allentown; Daughter: Donna Gilbert and her husband Thomas of Enola, PA; Grandchildren: Rebecca Keck and her husband Geoff, Anthony Guzie, Cody Gilbert and his wife Kristina, Haley Gilbert; Great-granddaughter: Lennon Keck. Isobel was predeceased by her brother Clayton H. Knappenberger and by sisters Dorothy, Miriam and Myrtle Knappenberger.
