Jackie C. Hankee August 12, 1969 - October 18, 2024

Jackie C. Hankee, II, 55, of Allentown, passed away Friday October 18, 2024, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lisa M. (Collins) Hankee. They would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this December. Jackie was born in Allentown, a son of Jackie C. Hankee of Slatington and Darlene (Redline) Battle of Walnutport. He started his career as a mathematics teacher in the Allentown School District and then became the assistant principal for Southern Lehigh Middle School. Jackie was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Emmaus. He loved the outdoors, his dog Emmy, the Pittsburgh Steelers and most importantly spending time with his family.

Survivors: Wife; parents; daughters, Alesandra A. Hankee and her Fiancé Jaxon Costello of Allentown, Mackenzie R. Hankee of Allentown; brothers, Jason J. Hankee and his wife Kelly of Walnutport, Brad J. Hankee and his wife Angelica of Eagle River, AK; mother-in-law, Virginia R. Collins of Allentown; brothers-in-law, Joseph P. Collins and his wife Elsa of Allentown, John T. Collins and his wife Karen of Merritt Island, FL; many nephews and nieces.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 24th in the St. John’s UCC 139 North 4th St. Emmaus. Friends and family may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown and 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Thursday in the church. www.stephensfuneral.com.
