James F. Miller September 28, 1933 - November 20, 2023

James F. Miller, 90 passed away November 20, 2023, at his residence at the Whitehall Manor. Born in 1933, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Luettgen) Miller. He was the husband of the late Elaine Nanette Strauss, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage before her death in 2004. After his honorable service in the U.S. Army, James worked for many years at Hess’s Department Store as their Vice President. He was a long time and active member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., Allentown, PA. In his spare time he proudly worked with LV Therapy Dogs.

James is survived by his children, David J. Miller (Tracey), Gail L. Maschin, Diane K. Behler (Donald), grandson Ryan, sister-in-law Jean Kerrigan, and niece Linda Heffelfinger. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Douglas Maschin.

Services will be held privately. Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106, has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
