Janet B. Dankle January 13, 1926 - July 25, 2022

Janet B. Dankle, 96, died Monday, July 25, 2022. A resident of Fellowship Community, Whitehall she was the wife of the late Carl E. Dankle. Born in Allentown on January 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Alvin D. and Hattie (Heffelfinger) Sell.  Janet was an active member of the Bible Fellowship Community Church, where she was a choir soloist with Auto Harp. She sang in a Trio at Seibert E.C. Church and on the choirs at First Baptist, Faith Evangelical Free and Bethel Bible Fellowship. Janet sang at Keneseth Israel Synagogue with a quartet for 20 years. Active in archery, she was a lifetime member of the Izaak Walton Rod and Gun Club.  Janet enjoyed traveling to watch dirt track racing and attend USS McNair reunions with her husband. She retired from Bethlehem Steel as a Statistician Secretary of the Claims Dept.

Survivors: Daughter, Donna Williams and her husband, Trever of Allentown; granddaughter, Michele Beam; grandson, Adam McLaine and his wife, Anita of Whitehall; great granddaughter, Jennifer Beam; great grandsons, Ryan Keyser, Carl (CJ) and Mark McLaine. She was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth, Herman, Emerson, Herbert, Wesley and sisters Venus, Grace and Verna.

Services: A celebration of Janet’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, in the Zentz Community Center of Fellowship Villa (Fellowship Community) 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall.  Call 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.  Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
