Janet F. Cury February 17, 1942 - April 18, 2024

Janet F. Cury, 82, of Macungie, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Mosser Nursing Home. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Kathryn Schoch. A 1960 graduate of Emmaus High School, she was employed at PPL for 43 years before retiring in 2004. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie. Jan enjoyed traveling, bowling, gardening, and listening and dancing to 50’s and 60’s music. Some of her fondest memories were good times spent with family and friends, especially at Lake Wallenpaupack and Rehoboth Beach DE.

Survivors: sister, Diane Schantz; companion, Rome Ragnelli; nephews, Troy Schantz (Tonya), Brett Schantz (Valerie); great nephews, Tyler Schantz (Victoria), Blake Schantz; great nieces, Madison and Morgan Schantz; great great nephew, Caleb Schantz. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, Warren.
