Jean L. Dayton April 9, 1933 - June 2, 2025

Jean L. Dayton, 92, of Macungie, formerly of Allentown, died on Monday, June 2, 2025, in the inpatient hospice unit of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. She was born in Freeland on April 9, 1933, to Charles F. and Betty Billman. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1951 and was married to Robert L. Dayton for almost 60 years until his death in 2011. Jean worked at Traub’s Market and for Allentown School Food Service and was a member of St. Michael’s of Nativity Lutheran Church.

Survivors: sons, Robert C. (Cheryl), Barry W. (Laurie); grandchildren, Barry, Jr. (Jessica), Sara (Jason) Troutman, Krista (Chris) Schenkel, Heather (fiancé, Wayne Blank); great grandchildren, Dominic and Dylan Dayton, Willow, Brynne and Halle Troutman, Cassidy and Caiden Schenkel; many nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by brother, Charles J.

Services: 10 AM Friday, June 6th at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown. Call 9 AM until service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
