Jean L. Southard September 12, 1924 - November 27, 2022

Jean Louise Southard, 98, formerly of Country Meadows, Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the home of her daughter, Renee Southard, in Beverly, MA, on November 27, 2022. Born on September 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Esther (Scott) Stanley of Coaldale, PA. Jean and her late husband, Howard Southard, celebrated 63 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2016. After attending Practical Bible Training School, Jean was a Director of Christian Education and, after raising her children, was a successful realtor. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jean was always active in her church wherever she lived and her faith was an inspiration to many. Jean is survived by her daughter, Renee Southard, of Beverly, MA, son, Mark and his wife, Jeanne (Kornfeld) Southard, of Bethlehem, PA,  and grandchildren, Isaac Southard and his wife, Darby Kline, of New York City, NY, and Chelsea Southard, of Bethlehem, PA. Calling hours will be held from 2:00-3:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown, PA 18106. Burial will be held privately.
