Jeffrey R. Scherer September 23, 1962 - February 20, 2021
Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Scherer, 58, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. He and his wife, Dee Dee (Dehner), celebrated their 32nd anniversary. He was a son of RuthAnn (Henry) Scherer and the late Lowell T. Scherer. He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School (1980) and Kutztown University. Jeff was an inventory analyst for 15 years for Olympus America, Inc. and earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Survivors: wife; mother; sons, Matthew and Brent; brother, J. Scott; sister, Lori Pfeiffer and husband, Keith; uncle, Robert Henry and wife, Beverly; nephews, Jonathan Scherer, Michael Pfeiffer. He was preceded in death by nephew, Joseph Scherer. Services: There will be a visitation Friday from 11 AM – 12 PM at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to American Cancer Society.
