Jennie E. Susko March 14, 1945 - January 15, 2026

Jennie E. Susko, 80, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Good Shepherd Hospice, Sebring, FL. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph D. Susko. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Christine (Fragnito) Sipos. Jennie was a 1963 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, where she played basketball for 4 years. Jennie enjoyed spending time with her family and also enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, and bowling with John’s Gang and Club 55 at the Rose Bowl. God blessed her with friends that she treasured and loved like family. She was president, secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the former “Italian Club” of Allentown. Jennie was a member of the Ladies Golf League at Shepherd Hill Golf Club and was a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Allentown. Her grandchildren, who referred to her as “Mimi” were the pride and joy of her life. She was a selfless woman with a huge heart who would do anything for anyone.

Survivors: Daughters: Joanne Muniz and her husband Alex of Avon Park, FL, Jennifer Hanssen and her husband Michael of Allentown; Grandsons: Austin and his wife Erielle, Bryce and his fiancé Olivia, Chase and his girlfriend Isabel; Half-Sister: Rose Marie Deutsch of Northampton; Half-Brother: John C. Sipos, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Slatington. Jennie is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Alexis Muniz.

Services: 11 am Saturday, January 24, 2026, Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. There will be a visitation from 10 – 11 am Saturday (1/24/26) in the funeral home. www.heintzelmanstephens.com.
