Joan A. Plarr July 19, 1931 - May 19, 2025
Joan A. Plarr, 93, of Allentown, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Sittler) Wieder. She was the wife of Albert J. Plarr, Jr., with whom she shared 72 years of marriage. Joan was a long-time and active member of Cedar Lutheran Church, S. Whitehall Township. Above all, Joan loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Albert, Joan is survived by her daughter Debra L. Schultz (Earl), and daughter-in-law, Becky Plarr, sisters Mary Ann Wagner and Susan Garver, grandchildren Kelly White, Matthew Schultz, and Maxwell Plarr, 7 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held privately. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
