Joan H. Jones March 30, 1936 - January 1, 2025

Joan H. Jones, 88, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025. She was the wife of the late John R. Jones. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Hedwig M. (Heidecker) and Joseph A. Freck. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. Upon college graduation, Joan was employed at Bethlehem Steel. She was then employed as a secretary at Salisbury High School for 26 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her grandsons.

Survivors: daughters, Kimberlee A. Pavkovic and husband, Kenneth J., Lynn A. Nester; grandchildren, Scott and Ryan. Joan was preceded in death by son-in-law, Robert C. Nester.

Services: 10 AM, Wednesday, January 8th, at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Call 9 AM until service time.
