Joan P. Keiper July 18, 1933 - May 16, 2020

Joan P. Keiper, 86, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown.  She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Keiper, Sr. Joan was born in Reading the second youngest of eleven children of the late George W. Florence M. (Klopp) Folk. She was employed by Weis Market, Whitehall for 35 years before retiring in 2003. She was a devout Christian who was member of First Baptist Church, Allentown.  Joan was an amazing mother and extremely loving and caring person to everyone who knew her. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors: Sons, Barry D. and his wife Joan Keiper of Mount Pleasant, SC and Brett D. Keiper of Greenville, NC; daughter, Kim L.  and her husband Stanley Nemeth of Allentown; brother, George Folk of Macungie; sister, Marilyn Frack of Allentown; twelve grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth R. Keiper, Jr.
