John A. Fresa October 8, 1944 - June 20, 2023

John A. Fresa, 78, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in the St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Twp. He was the husband of Susan J. (Johnson) Fresa. They would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary next month.  Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry S. and Eleanor (Smith) DeSpote. John worked at Bally Ribbon Mills for many years and retired as Maintenance Supervisor in 2008. Previously, he worked in maintenance for Babygro for over 15 years. John enjoyed going to auctions and purchasing contents of storage bins to resell the items. He was a coin collector and also collected cowboy and Indian figurines. John was a fan of the Hopalong Cassidy TV Show and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors: Wife, Susan; Son: Christopher J. Fresa of Kutztown and his partner Lindsay Collins of Kutztown; Susan’s daughter Kira Santiago of Tampa, FL; Grandchildren: Noah Fresa, Noel Fresa, Hannah Fresa and Susan’s grandson Joshua Judd; Sister: Diane Heller of Lindenwold, NJ. John is also survived by his beloved dog, Romeo.
