John F. Boyle July 16, 1931 - May 19, 2022

John F. “Jack” Boyle, 90, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Fellowship Community, Whitehall. He and his wife, Mary R. (Bursavage), celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late John James and Marguerite Ellen (Monahan) Boyle and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Jack was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was stationed in Germany for four years. Prior to retiring, he was employed at Mack Trucks, Inc. for more than 30 years. Upon retirement, he worked at Moravian Academy for ten years. He was lovingly dedicated to his entire family and will be deeply missed.  Survivors: wife; daughters, Jean Zelena and husband, Joseph, Kathy Herczeg, Trish Schweikert, Colleen Judy and husband, Neil; grandchildren, John, Marilyn, Monica, Julie, Christopher; great grandchildren, David, Bradley, Evelyn, Declan, Taylor; sister, Rosemary Adams; many nieces and nephews. Sisters, Kathleen Garrett and Grace Armstrong, and brother, William, preceded him in death.  Services: Private.
