John “Jack” Hartrick January 23, 1953 - September 4, 2024

John R. “Jack” Hartrick, 71, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  Born in 1953, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Pine) Hartrick.  He was the loving husband to Gail (Doerr) Hartrick, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.  Jack honorably served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves.  In his spare time, Jack was an honorary member of the Pagoda Motorcycle Club.  He also loved caring for the motocross track at Sleepy Hollow Motocross Park.  Those two activities earned him the nicknames “Jack the Ripper” from the Pagoda Club and “The Rhino” from his time at Englishtown Raceway Park.

In addition to his wife Gail, Jack is survived by his children, Scott Hartrick (Tracy Lynn) and Keith Hartrick (Stephanie), sister, June Konanez (Peter), niece April Simmons, and grandchildren Dominic Hartrick and Noelle Hartrick.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106, at 6:00 PM. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 5:00-6:00.
