John Karapelou March 16, 1935 - March 23, 2017

John Karapelou, 82, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. He was the husband of the late Barbara J. (Kriebel) Karapelou. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Margaritis and Martha (Deliambou) Karapelou. He was a graduate of Allentown H.S., Class of 1953. John worked with his father and later became the owner of Liberty Lunch, and spent 50 years in the business. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of West Allentown for over 40 years.

Survivors: Sons: John W. of South Euclid, OH and his children John E. and Christina, James M. and his wife Danielle and their daughter Mikayla of Allentown, Andrew J. of Phoenix, AZ and his daughters Isabelle and Nicole; Brother: Peter M. and his wife Barbara of Whitehall; Sisters: Anna Velesaris of Easton, Tessie Vlattas and her husband Steven of Whitehall.
