Jonathan Alan Rosenfeld June 13, 1972 - October 22, 2024

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jonathan Alan Rosenfeld, beloved son, brother, and friend. Jon passed away on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 at the age of 52. He was born in Allentown to the late Joseph Leon Rosenfeld and Marian (Dembner) Rosenfeld.

Some of Jon’s favorite things: his dog Charlie; Rush; the Eagles, Phillies, and Iron Pigs; WWE Wrestling; Yocco’s and Chinese food. Jon also had a love of traveling and visiting many interesting and historic locations, cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Orlando; summer trips in a motor home to Canada, Boston, and Washington, DC; numerous flights across the country to and from San Diego; art and science museums, landmarks, railroads, local fairs, the local farmers’ markets, the Echo Hill Country Store, the Poconos, festivals, concerts, sporting events, and a trip with his father to Israel. Jon was proud to call Allentown his home.

Jon’s unique personality, sense of humor, kindness, and empathy have made an indelible impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be forever missed.

Our deepest appreciation goes to the immeasurable support of the many people and agencies contributing so positively to Jon’s care and well-being, including Via of the Lehigh Valley, Everyday Community Resources, Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, and Creative Life Options, LLC. In lieu of flowers or food, we ask that donations are made to Via of the Lehigh Valley in Jon’s memory at www.vianet.org/ways-to-help/donate-today.

A special thanks also to Lehigh County Mental Health for their unwavering dedication.

Jon is survived by his brother Andrew Turner and his wife Eileen of Mt. Laurel, NJ. He was the proud uncle of Sydney and Blake.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Sunday, October 27th at the Sons of Israel Cemetery, Mundy Lane, Whitehall.
