Joseph C. Younger October 19, 1928 - April 7, 2018

Joseph C. Younger, 89, of Allentown, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 in the St. Luke’s Hospital Allentown Campus.  He was the loving companion of Jane L. Brinker for 56 years.  Joseph was born in Allentown a son of the late Rudolph J. Younger, Sr. and Anna M. (Blum) Younger.  He was a mill man specializing in custom carpentry for 46 years before retiring from the Eisenhardt Mills of Easton in 1992.  Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.  Joseph was the last of the original founders of the Izaak Walton Archery Club, Allentown.  Joseph was a member of the Breinigsville V.F.W. and American Legion Post # 576 of Allentown. He enjoyed bow and arrow hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling with Jane to Canada and Promised Land.

Survivors: Companion; sister, Jean Herrmann of Allentown; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother Rudolph J. Younger, Jr.
