Joseph P. Cummings May 28, 1980 - May 2, 2024

Joseph P. Cummings, 43, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed from this life on May 2, 2024. Joe was born on May 28, 1980, to Susan and James Cummings. He graduated from Salisbury High School in 1998 and was a scholar athlete, playing both varsity soccer and wrestling. He attended Penn State Berks and LCCC in Construction Management. He worked for many years as a skilled carpenter. His hobbies included fishing, hiking, mountain biking, creative writing, and woodworking. Joe exemplified strong Christian values and was a respectful, loving, intelligent, and caring individual. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Joe is survived by his devoted parents, Susan and James Cummings, sister, Karen Skoczynski and husband, Todd, nephew, Adam, and niece, Rachel. Additionally, he is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10th, from 5 – 8 PM at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown PA 18106. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 11th, at 11 AM in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown PA 18103.
