Joy Ann Stinner September 11, 1939 - August 14, 2024

Joy Ann Stinner, 84, of Allentown passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart by the Creek on August 14th, 2024 surrounded by her loving daughters. Born in a farmhouse in Bath on September 11, 1939 Joy was full of life, love, and laughter for everyone who knew her. Her big hugs provided the true meaning of love for her family and friends. Joy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leo Stinner, and her cherished daughter, Kellie Sue Speigel. Their home was a warm and nurturing place for family gatherings and celebrations. Joy’s unwavering devotion to her family was evident in everything she did, from her home-cooked halupkies to her rhubarb pie. She had a gift for decorating her home and made sure that everyone felt welcomed and comfortable.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Dex, wife of Edward Dex of Coopersburg, Michelle Glucksnis, wife of William Glucksnis of Jackson, New Jersey and five grandchildren Emily, Thomas, Peter, Jake, and Libby. She is also survived by sisters, Gloria Chabak, Carol Saylor, Karen Miller, April Fox, and brother Joseph Fox and dear life long friend Isabelle Moll. Joy’s spirit and laughter touched the lives of many, and will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Arrangements were made by Stephen’s Funeral home and a private memorial service was held with the immediate family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the people at Sacred Heart who truly cared for her and made her feel loved. Joy Ann Stinner’s love and kindness will be carried in our hearts forever.
