June E. Reifinger October 21, 1934 - June 26, 2025

June E. Reifinger, 90, of Allentown passed away on June 26, 2025, at her residence.  Born in Kutztown on October 21, 1934, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Marguerite N. Kemp.  She was the wife of Reynold C. Reifinger, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.  June’s family moved to Allentown in 1942, and she was eventually a graduate of Allentown High School, Class of 1952.  After graduation, June worked for Mack Trucks for over 42 years in the data processing department, the marketing and accounting department, before eventually retiring as a senior branch accountant.

June was a long-time member of the former St. James Lutheran Church until its closing.  She served as a financial secretary, sang on the choir, and served on many church committees.  Currently, June is a member at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Ott St. Allentown, PA.

In her spare time, June volunteered at the Allentown Food Bank and L.V. Hospital Atrium Gift Shop in the Cancer Center.  She was a member of the Auxiliary of the L.V. Hospital and served as a board member for many years.  She loved their trips to Ocean City, MD and enjoyed the beach and sailing on their 25 foot “Valkyrie”.  She also loved to read and shop.

In addition to Reynold, her husband of 60 years, June is survived by children, Diane, wife of David Spangler, Dean, and wife Sandra (Hunsinger), and Michael, and wife Denise (Scherr).  Grandchildren Jill, Corey, Jenna, Bradley, Krista, and Angela, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and sister Barbara Shoemaker.

Services will be held privately.  Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
