Karen L. Bartman May 7, 1943 - April 30, 2018

Karen L. Bartman, 74, of Allentown, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 in Cedarbook Nursing Home, So. Whitehall Twp. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Irene E. (Acker) Bartman. Karen was a graduate of Kutztown University and received her Master’s Degree from Lehigh University. She was a teacher and facilitator at Jefferson Elementary School in Allentown for 34 years before retiring in 1999. Karen loved Scotland and all Scottish things. She was a member of the Scottish Society of the Lehigh Valley and the L.V. Scottish Country Dance Society. She was also a member of the Wegman’s Friday morning book club. Karen enjoyed trips to New York to see Broadway shows and visit the city. She attended healing services at Holy Ghost Church in Bethlehem. Karen loved dogs and being around children.

Survivors: Aunt: Virginia Crone of Allentown. Karen is also survived by many cousins.
