Keith W. Lenhart September 27, 1951 - April 19, 2021

Keith W. Lenhart, 69, of Macungie passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 19, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Linda (Fillman) Lenhart.  They would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this July.  Keith was born in Allentown a son of the late Christine M. (Kohler) Lenhart.  He was the Circulation Director for the Allentown Morning Call from 1970 – 2004. Before retirement Keith was a special education teacher with both the Allentown and the Northwestern Lehigh School Districts. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Allentown, where he served as President and a member of Church Council and as a Sunday School Teacher. Keith was the Chairman of Family and Counseling Services of the Lehigh Valley. He served as President of the Inter-State Circulation Manager’s Association. Keith was very active in his sons’ sports activities. He coached baseball and basketball at Union Terrace and was a member of the Union Terrace Hall of Fame. Keith also served as President of the Allen High School Booster Club.

Survivors: Wife; sons, Brian K. and his wife Jessica Lenhart of Mullica Hill, NJ, and Darrin A. and his wife Clare Lenhart of Center Valley; grandchildren, Maura Jean, Caelee Maye, Laurel Lynn and Daniel Keith; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Fillman, Barbara Keiper and Mary Rembiszewski; brothers-in-law, Richard R. Fillman and his wife Antoinette Fillman; eleven nieces and nephews, great niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Frederick C. Lenhart, Jr. and brothers-in-law Kenneth C. Fillman and Raymond Keiper.

Services: A celebration of Keith’s life will be held at 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 23rd in the garden of the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. in the garden.  www.stephensfuneral.com.
