Kenneth J. Ritter May 16, 1953 - June 15, 2022

Kenneth J. Ritter, 69, of Coopersburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in L.V. Hospital, Cedar Crest Blvd. He was the husband of Kimberly A. (Kukura) Ritter. They would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in August. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Raymond H. and Ruth E. (Geisinger) Ritter. Kenny was a 1971 graduate of Palisades H.S. and graduated from Williamsport C.C. in 1973. He was an equipment operator for John H. Siwert Excavating and for the Borough of Coopersburg. Kenny was a member of Saucon Lodge #469 F.&A.M., Coopersburg and served as Worshipful Master in 1983, 2008 and 2020. Kenny also served as Principal of the 9th Masonic District School of Instruction for more than 10 years. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley. Kenny was an avid Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan. Some hobbies included hunting, playing on numerous softball teams, and competition BBQing. Kenny was most proud of his children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew “Big Ken”, knows he was a very confident, but also very selfless person living life to its fullest with NO regrets.

Survivors: Wife, Kim; Son: Kyle J. Ritter and his wife Jennifer A. and their children Tyler J. and Kayleigh G. of Dumont, NJ; Daughter: Rachel A. Zehnder and her husband Adam C. and their children Gwendolyn A. and Edison J. of Coopersburg; Sisters: Patricia H. Siwert of Blooming Glen, Kathleen A. “Tootie” Koch and her husband Donald L., Sr. of Coopersburg, Dolores R. “Susie” Reiss of Sellersville; Sister-in-Law: Betty Lou Ritter of Springtown. Kenny is survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brothers Raymond E. and Harvey W. Ritter.

Services: There will be a visitation from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022, and 9 – 11 am Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Faith U.C.C., 5992 Route 378, Center Valley PA 18034. A Masonic Service will be at 11 am Wednesday with funeral service to follow. Masks are required and everyone attending is requested to wear Navy Blue (not black) for the Yankees.
