Kenneth A. Lindenmoyer May 5, 1946 - August 28, 2018

Kenneth Alan Lindenmoyer, 72, of Allentown, passed away on August 28, 2018 at The Lutheran Home in Topton. Son of Alfred W. and Kathleen Rech Lindenmoyer, Ken was born and raised in Allentown. A 1964 graduate of William Allen High School, a 1968 graduate of Kutztown State College, with a MEd from Kutztown, Ken dedicated his career to teaching mathematics for thirty-one years at William Allen High School. In 1989 Ken was honored by the Allentown Education Association and his peers for his outstanding commitment as a teacher. A loyal fan of William Allen athletic teams, Ken rarely missed a basketball game. His students considered him to be an excellent teacher, a mentor, and a friend. Ken was a long-time member of the Liberty Bell Church Zion UCC, a member of Kappa Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society, the Allentown Schoolmen’s Club, and the Allentown Teachers Friday Breakfast Group.
Ken is survived by his brother, Donald (Joan) in Mesa, AZ; dear cousins; colleagues who treasured his friendship; and thousands of students who loved and respected Mr. Lindenmoyer. Many thanks to the faithful caregivers at Topton who welcomed Ken into their community.
