Kevin L. Jennings July 13, 1960 - January 1, 2022

If it needed to be repaired, Kevin could fix it. If it needed to be built, Kevin could build it. If it needed to be assailed, Kevin could trash it. If it needed to be loved Kevin put his heart into it. Unfortunately, our world and his family lost Kevin on New Year’s Day. He was just 61, losing a long battle with a variety of health challenges he fought long and hard to overcome.

Kevin lived most of those 61 years in Lower Macungie Township, the last 40 with the love of his life, Nancy, who he called “Nan.” He is survived by her unconditional love and their daughter, Dana, their son, Kevin, II, Dana’s children, Madison and Ava, Kevin, II’s son, Kevin III, and his brother, Alan and his wife Denise, brother Mark, Jr.

Over the years, Kevin worked at Gardner Cryogenics, Mack Truck and Atlantico. Kevin never suffered fools, always challenging, sometimes paying the price for his honesty and guts, but never backing down from his convictions.

He loved baseball, especially the Orioles, pitching for his slow-pitch church softball team. He was also an active participant and huge auto racing fan. Kevin’s innate skills and love for fabricating drove him to use his passion and talents to design and construct a variety of award-winning racing vehicles, a custom hauling trailer and the coolest car wagon for his grandchildren, amongst many other accomplishments inspired by his drive to fix and create.

Despite having the hands of a mechanic, a welder, a working man, his loving touch was felt by all lucky enough to be close to him.

He and his family attended Bethany United Methodist Church in Lower Macungie for 20+ years.

Kevin’s life will be celebrated in a brief service on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 10:30 am at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106. A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com
