Lawrence M. Kirkpatrick May 9, 1925 - January 24, 2021

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You’ll never know dear how much I love you
Please don’t take that sunshine away.
Lar softly sang his young kids to sleep at bedtime.

A loving father to Betty, Janet, and Rick.
Grandfather of Craig and Brian.
Great grandfather of Alexander and Zoey.
Friend to Betty’s husband Bob, Craig’s wife Beth and Rick’s partner Carol.

He was an Air Force Officer stateside in WWII, a Pitt graduate in geological engineering working for Standard Oil, Atlas Cement, and Fuller Co. A proud American, proud Scot, Phillies fan, his passion for golf was eclipsed only by his dedication to his family and care of Bob the Dog.
We will miss his strong presence, his wisdom, and his wry humor. He is finally able to rest after recent years of longing for the love of his life. He is now next to her. His wife of 69 years. Peg
