Lois Armentano March 9, 1943 - January 20, 2023

Lois Armentano, 79, formerly of Allentown, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 in Boynton Beach, FL. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Antonio and Marion (Smith) Armentano. Lois was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University where she earned her degree in Education. She subsequently earned her master’s degree a few years later. She worked for the Pennridge School District for 35 years before retiring in 1999. Lois was an avid runner throughout her life and upon her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, spending winters in her Florida home, going to the beach and golfing, sometimes on a daily basis. She loved her family more than anything and while she was teaching, spending summers in FL with her sister and family was the highlight of her year.

Survivors- Brother: Dr. Thomas Armentano of Land O’ Lakes, FL; Sister: Donna Strohl Tessitore of Boynton Beach, FL; Niece: Tina (Strohl) Duane and her husband Kenny of Boynton Beach, FL; Nephews: Jason Strohl and his wife Dena of Pegram, TN; Michael Armentano of Singapore. Great nieces: Abigail and Kristen Duane, great nephews: Jason Strohl, Jr., Trenton and Wyatt Strohl, and great-great niece Kinsey and great-great nephew Jason. Cousins: David Smith, Sandra (Smith) Digloria, and Diane (Smith) Conley of Allentown. Lois was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Marion Armentano, her nephew, John Armentano and cousin Danny Smith.
