Marian C. Peifley December 12, 1940 - December 27, 2025

Marian C. (Resh) Peifley, 85, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, in her home. She was the wife of the late Forrest M. Peifley, Jr. Born in Coplay, December 12, 1940, Marian was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Wunderly) Resh. She worked in Human Resources for F. & M. Schaefer Brewing Company in Allentown for many years before retiring. Prior to that, she worked as a secretary for several lawyers throughout the Lehigh Valley. Marian was a member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield.

Survivors: daughter, Christine R. Hivizdak and her husband, John of Allentown; brother, Charles Resh and his wife, Carol of Fogelsville; sister-in-law, Lois Resh of Slatington; grandchildren, John F. Hivizdak and his wife Sara, Alicia Hivizdak; great grandson, Reed; companion, Clair Klotz of Dornsife, PA; predeceased by sister, Mildred McKeeby and brothers, Daniel J. Resh, Sr., David Resh.

Service: A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the Heintzelman – Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Road Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
