Marie Shopple October 14, 1936 - January 14, 2018

Marie Shopple, 81, of Furlong, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Shopple, Sr. Born in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Litwak) Prybolsky. Marie graduated from West Chester University and received her Master’s Degree from Penn State University. She was an elementary school teacher in the Allentown S.D. and the Central Bucks S.D. Mrs. Shopple was a former board member of the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra.

Survivors: Daughter: Katherine M. Arcese and her husband Manfredo G. of North Salem, NY; Sons: Michael A. Shopple of Furlong, who served as caregiver and allowed Marie to maintain her independence, John P. Shopple of Mesa, AZ; Grandchildren: Nadia Anastasia Arcese and Giancarlo Thomas Arcese. Marie was predeceased by a son Thomas J. Shopple, Jr.
