Marilyn R. Quay December 13, 1930 - December 12, 2018

Marilyn R. Quay, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, the day before her 88th birthday. She was the wife of the late John E. Quay who passed away in 1994. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ruth (Miller) and Paul Clymer, Sr. Marilyn graduated from West Chester University of PA with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Health. She was a Physical Education teacher for the Bethlehem School District, Emmaus School District and also the Northampton School District for a total of 16 years before retiring in 1971. Marilyn was a former Girls Basketball coach at Emmaus High School. Marilyn and her late husband were two of the founders of the First PA Mustang Club.

Survivors: Son: Rick E. Quay of New Tripoli and his companion Georgia Thompson and her daughter Lindsay Thompson and her children Arianna, Skyler and Mason; Daughter: Tammy L. Richmond and her husband David J. of Emmaus; Grandsons: Sean Richmond and his wife Krista of Easton and their daughters Elenna and Capri, Patrick Richmond of Philadelphia. Marilyn was predeceased by her brothers Paul Clymer, Jr. and Bruce Clymer and by a sister Jeanne Hartung.

Services: 6 pm Monday, Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd. Call 5 – 6 pm Monday in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com.
