Mark J. Steckel April 17, 1979 - September 17, 2023

Mark J. Steckel, 44, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Dean C. and Patricia E. (Henrich) Steckel of Lower Macungie Twp. Mark was a graduate of Emmaus High School where he was a great athlete. He enjoyed playing sports at Emmaus H.S. and later played fast pitch softball for many years. Mark loved fishing with his family and was a HUGE Tennessee Titans fan. He worked as a package handler for FedEx Ground. Mark enjoyed playing cards with his family and was very competitive when he played. He was a very good cook and enjoyed creative cooking.

Mark is survived by his parents, Dean and Patricia; Son: Taylor Geoffrey Steckel of Allentown; Sister: Jennifer E. Sosik and her husband Nick of Orefield and their sons, Logan and Ty; Mark was predeceased by his brother Geoffrey Dean Steckel and is survived by Geoffrey’s children, Ben and Emma; Mark is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Kay and Bob Kern; Mark is predeceased by his uncles, Bob Henrich and Tom Henrich and survived by his aunts, Barbara Henrich and Diane Henrich.
