Mark T. Konz August 21, 1948 - September 1, 2023

Mark T. Konz, 75, of Orefield, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, in L.V. Hospital, Cedar Crest Blvd. He was the husband of Jean E. (Sullivan) Konz. They would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary later this month. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was a son of the late Adolph and Eileen (Mullen) Konz. Mark was a graduate of North Plainfield H.S. in New Jersey and Lincoln Tech in Newark, NJ. He was an Air Force veteran and served in Vietnam. Mark worked as a mechanic for SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals and Amazon. He had a private Pilot license and liked to go deep sea fishing. Mark was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. He was a life-member of the Macungie VFW, a member of the Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading and the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club.

Survivors: Wife, Jean; Son: Mark M. “Micky” Konz of Orefield; Brother: Michael P. Konz and his wife Kathryn of Aurora, CO; Sister: Madeline E. Konz of Arlington, VA; Nieces: Diane, Laura and Janet Konz; Nephew: Paul Konz and his wife Andrea. Mark was predeceased by his brother Peter M. Konz.
