Martha E. Seltzer November 21, 1933 - September 29, 2024

Martha E. Seltzer, 90, of Allentown, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Campus.  Born in 1933, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. and Bessie (Saltzman) Kromer.  She was the widow of the late Edward R. Seltzer, Jr., with whom she shared 65 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2020.   Martha was a graduate of Lehighton High School, class of 1951.  She would then go on to work as a teacher’s aid in the Montgomery Intermediate Unit, working with special education students for over 30 years.  She was a long-time member of Glenside U.C.C.  In her spare time, she enjoyed participating in the Senior Group at Faith Church.  Above all, she was a loving and devoted mother and faithfully cared for her daughter Sallie.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Sallie Ann Seltzer, of Allentown, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Andrew Seltzer, and a sister, Joyce Heilman.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM, a visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:00 AM, all at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106.
