Mary E. Buffington February 4, 1945 - May 19, 2023

Mary E. Buffington, 78, of Allentown, PA died May 19, 2023.  Mary was the wife of Douglas Buffington; they were married January 5,1980. Born February 4, 1945, in Nesquehoning, PA. Mary was the daughter of the late Daniel M. Boyle and the late Mary E. Boyle. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from East Stroudsburg State College and an MBA from Lehigh University. In retirement, Mary enjoyed gardening, reading, Tai Chi, and volunteering at Cedarbrook Nursing Home.

Survivors: Surviving Mary are her husband Douglas, stepson Stephen and his family and sister Kathleen Ann Boyle of Stroudsburg.

Services: All funeral arrangements will be private.  Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106, has been entrusted with Mary’s care and arrangements.
