Melba K. Fenstermacher October 19, 1932 - February 28, 2021

Melba K. (Schrader) Fenstermacher, age 88, of New Tripoli, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on February 28, 2021.  Melba was the widow of the late Robert R. Fenstermacher, Sr. with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Mabel K. (Lentz) and Henry H. Schrader of Whitehall, PA.  She had 5 siblings: brothers, Mervin, Carlton, and Kenneth and was predeceased by her sister, Delthene, and her brother, Lynn.  Melba was a devoted wife and a proud beloved mother of her daughter, Debra K. and spouse, Scott J. Yelovich, and sons, Scott R. and wife, Alena, Mark R. and wife, Paula, Brad R. and wife, Susan, and Michael J.  She was predeceased by her son, Robert R., Jr., and her two grandsons, Daniel C. Ream and Brandon S. Fenstermacher.  Melba also has a very large extended family of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.            Melba enjoyed life, spending time with her family and many friends.  She had a great love for her family and will be sorely missed as her family remembers celebrations and the great meals she provided on holidays, birthdays and special occasions.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, her birds and plants, and going to the beach house in Ocean City Maryland with her children and grandchildren.  Melba was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Class of 1951.  She was a member of the U.C.C. Denomination.  She was also involved as a leader in both Girl Scouts and the 4-H Club.  Melba worked as a legal secretary for many years for Attorneys Shulman and Shabbick in Palmerton, PA, and later for the Lehigh Valley Health Network as a receptionist/coordinator on the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Units and Surgery Waiting Unit.  She was loved by the staff and patients for her great personality, her big heart and caring attitude and demeanor.  Services: Private.  Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC.  Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the family, c/o the funeral home, 274 N.
