Melvin F. Funk November 25, 1919 - January 28, 2109

Melvin F. Funk, 99, of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, passed away Monday, January 28, 2109 in the Villas at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.  He was born in Richlandtown, PA, a son of the late Harry and Mamie (Bartholomew) Funk. Melvin was the husband of the late Katherine (Stopka) Funk. He was a supervisor for over 30 years for Bethlehem Steel and the former Western Electric before retiring in 1982. Melvin was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1937. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, Allentown. Melvin was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a Sergeant.

Survivors: Son: Robert M. Funk of St. Augustine, FL; granddaughters: Lisa Felegy of Orange Park, FL, Stacey Hess of Mount Joy, PA; grandson: Robert B. Funk of Nashville, TN; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Claude and Fred Funk.
