Mikaela M. Jones July 1, 1995 - November 6, 2022

Mikaela M. Jones, 27, of Emmaus, passed away Sunday, November 6th from the result of a tragic automobile accident in Lower Mount Bethel Township. She is the wife of her high school sweetheart Christopher J. Nemesch.  They were together for 12 years and would have celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary this January. Mikaela was born in Allentown and is the daughter of Douglas Jones and his wife Nancy of Wescosville and Pamela (Dieter) Duff and her husband David of South Whitehall Township. She was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 2013. Mikaela was currently employed as an Itinerant liquor store clerk and was training to be a shift leader for the Wine and Spirits Store at the Hamilton Crossings, Allentown. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Macungie. Mikaela had a spice life, specifically pumpkin spice.  For many years, she and her friends participated in and raised countless dollars for Relay for Life.  Her greatest joys in life were surrounded with loved ones and being there to lend a hand.  She enjoyed live music events, food truck festivals, her beloved hard apple cider, Starbucks mugs, and trips with Chris, the kids, Daniel and a host of family and friends.  She had a knack for crafts and cooking.  She left a mark on the heart of every person she met and will never be forgotten.

Survivors: Husband; parents; children, Bentley Mason Nemesch and Aubriella Darlene Nemesch both at home; brother, Corey T. Edelman of South Whitehall Township; stepbrother, Eric Minnich and his wife Pamela of Schnecksville; paternal grandparents, David Jones, Sr. and Darlene of Macungie; maternal grandfather, Larry Dieter, Sr. of Whitehall; cousin, Daniel and three nieces.

Services: A celebration of Mikaela’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2022 in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 4:30 – 6:00 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home.  www.stephensfuneral.com.
