Norris A. Rudjord November 29, 1939 - August 18, 2024

Norris Andrew Rudjord, 84, formerly of Brooklyn and Ithaca, New York, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Country Meadows, Allentown, PA, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lista, Norway in 1939 to the late Willie and Ruth Rudjord. Norris was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years and served as the president of the Brooklyn Carpenters Local Union 787. Norris was a spiritual man who had a strong faith in God. He had a passion for the outdoors, loved nature, animals and found immense peace while fishing on his boat with friends. He was a loving father and grandfather who took pride in sharing his love for photography, nutrition, construction, and faith with each of his grandchildren. His compassion for others and his desire to help when needed changed many lives for the better. He was a generous, loving, supportive, and unselfish man. Norris had a contagious, hearty laugh and an immense heart that will be forever missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son Erik Rudjord and his wife Robin of Fogelsville, PA; his daughter Lisa Senia and her husband Robert of Morganville, NJ; his grandchildren Christina Senia and her husband Mark Bowtell, Gina Senia, Olivia Rudjord, Jesse Rudjord; his sister Judy Berg-Pettersen and her husband Erling in Norway; his sister-in-law Venke Rudjord of Staten Island, NY. Norris is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Otto Rudjord.

A Memorial Service will be held at noon on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown, PA 18106. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 – 12:00 noon on Sunday, September 22, 2024. www.stephensfuneral.com
