Patricia A. Ritter April 4, 1935 - March 1, 2025

Patricia A. Ritter, 89, formerly of Orefield and Lake Wallenpaupack, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Ritter. They were married for 54 years. Pat was born in Shamokin and was a daughter of the late James R. and Marie (McDonald) Taylor. Pat devoted most of her energy to caring for her family but found an entertaining and interesting side career early in life modeling for Leh’s Department Store and then later in life as a “Senior Product” model for various local and national media outlets. Pat was an avid tennis player, enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband and spending many hours at the cottage on the lake with family and friends. She was a member of Brookside County Club and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for the homebound members of the congregation. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting their family holiday celebrations.
Survivors. Sons, Bruce E. Ritter and his wife Kelly of Emmaus, Brian D. Ritter and his wife Karen of Fogelsville. Brad T. Ritter and his wife Mary of Vera Cruz; brother, James Taylor and his wife Diane of Lecanto, FL; sister, Barbara Gehringer of Ambler, PA ; grandchildren, Andrew, Timothy and his partner Doug Brown, Kelsey and her fiancé Josh White, Lauren and her fiancé Darren Rooney, Taylor, Benjamin and Aidan; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Nora; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Misura.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 7th at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Friends and family may call from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Friday in the church. Interment will be private in the Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
