Patricia Lee Stewart December 29, 1930 - July 31, 2024

Patricia Lee Stewart passed away on July 31,2024 after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 29, 1930, in Waverly, New York to Arthur R. Saunders and Ida M. Blackman.  She graduated from St. Lucy’s Academy in 1948 and was married to United States Air Force Master Sergeant Robert S. Stewart on October 18, 1951, in Syracuse, New York. She dutifully accompanied her husband around the globe to such duty stations as Washington, DC, Tripoli, Libya, Reno, NV, Riverside, CA, Victorville, CA, Fresno, CA, Petersburg, VA, Naples, Italy, Oscoda, MI and Allentown, PA. For much of her adult life she worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and AT&T. During her time in Italy and Allentown, she was also a Red Cross volunteer. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and was a regular at the Leather Corner Post playing the bombas.

She was predeceased by her husband and leaves behind four sons.  Robert (Janet), Frank, Art (Terri) and Bernard (Dawn) and one granddaughter Sydney who was the light of her life. She was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Emmaus and always had a kind word for everyone. She always was first to lend a helping hand and will be missed by many.
