Patricia M. Roeder December 22, 1941 - November 21, 2022

Patricia M. Roeder, 80, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest.  Born in December 22, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Rita (Dusel) and William Winicaties. She was the wife of Brian Roeder, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

She was a long time member of The Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown, PA.

She was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville, PA, Class of 1959.  At Nativity, she excelled as a member of the girl’s basketball team when she memorably scored 39 points in one game.  After high school, she attended Sacred Heart School of Nursing, Allentown, PA.  She would then enjoy a long career working as a registered nurse.  She particularly loved working for Good Shepherd Rehab, Allentown, PA, where she ended her career in 2001.  In her spare time, she loved collecting nursing dolls and memorabilia.

In addition to her husband Brian, Pat is survived by her son, Brian Roeder Jr., and his fiancee Christina Outten.  Brother, Joseph Winicaties and his wife Carol, brother in-law Charles and his wife Linda Roeder, and sister in-Law Anita. Many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by  brother John.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at The Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 W Turner St, Allentown, PA 18104 at 11:00 AM.  A Viewing will be held in the church vestibule from 10-11 AM.
Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.  Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Contributions in memory of Pat may be made to the Good Shepherd Home or the Alzheimer’s Association
